Winzip and Flashget two popular downloading programs
I have these two programs and they work very well, flashget has resume, (resume dis-connected downloads) which I find is something I could not do without.
Most downloaded games will self-extract themselves into your computer but sometimes you need to un-zip the file, Winzip does the job. Also both of these program distributers offer a delux shareware version or a basic free version, I have the free version of both and they offer everthing I've ever needed.
